 In Firm Announcements

On May 19, 2017, Chandler & Moore Law partner Bret Moore spoke at Georgia State University College of Law’s annual Solo Practice Workshop. The seminar was free to GSU COL alumni and students, and 4 hours of CLE credit, including one hour of professionalism and one hour of ethics, was offered for a small fee. The Workshop was held at the new GSU COL building in Atlanta, from 8:00 a.m. until about 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Moore spoke for an hour about “Legal Ethics & Professionalism, Escrow Accounts and Malpractice Insurance.” The Solo Practice Workshop featured other speakers on various topics aimed at helping lawyers begin or enhance a solo or small firm practice. About 20 participants from practice areas including immigration, family law, estate planning, and intellectual property attended, and asked questions and engaged in discussions.

Chandler & Moore Law partners regularly speak on the topics of legal ethics, professionalism, insurance and malpractice, and related matters. These engagements have been approved for CLE credit by the State Bar of Georgia. If your law firm or Bar Association would like to obtain more information about hosting a seminar on these topics, please contact Douglas Chandler at douglas@chandlermoorelaw.com.
